Office Policies

Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment. Children age 7 and under are seen in the morning. Our dentists and staff find younger children are well rested and more attentive at this time.
*We understand that your child may need to miss school for their appointment, and we are always happy to provide an excuse letter.

Cancellation policy

Scheduled appointments require 48 hours notice for cancellation. It is the parent’s responsibility to keep appointments for their child. If more than two appointments are missed without proper notice, we may not be able to accommodate your child in our practice.

We require that a parent or legal guardian accompany the child to the first appointment. At subsequent appointments, another responsible adult can bring the child to the appointment as long as a written release is provided by the parent or legal guardian. This release authorizes the adult transporter to consent to treatment for the child. The adult or legal guardian must stay on site during the entire visit in case there are any treatment changes to be discussed.

If your child has seen a dentist before, we will need their previous dental records and xrays. Please fill out the record release form and email to info@lilackidsdental.com
